Euphoria is still available until Sunday, June 25th. The party begins at the entrance on Jan van Galenstraat. The train driver, whom you have to wait for a maximum of 5 minutes, will take you to the entrance. He will tell you all about the history of the Foodcenter site. He takes a fixed route around the site and drops you off at the entrance. Upon entry, you walk through a beautiful pop-up foyer with the sales point in the first room. It is recommended to bring a bottle of water with you, as the performance is so captivating that you won’t have time for a break. The story starts with a taxi driver in New York who only realizes at the end that he has been delivering a monologue because his passenger has fallen asleep. He was so eager to tell his New York story that he didn’t pay attention to the dialogue. It provides food for thought in our consumer society. In between the videos, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus sings beautifully, accompanied by five celebrated jazz drummers. People come in and leave intermittently due to 20-minute time slots. However, this is not at all disruptive; the space is very well designed. Highly recommended!
