With the recent changes in the function of the Walloon church, the wooden pews were no longer needed for their original purpose. For the rental of this beautiful church, they proved to be more often a hindrance than a good addition. But as always, the resilience of repurposing proves itself once again. Central Market Hall has adopted these distinctive benches and given them a new life.

From now on, these beautiful antique pews adorn the galleries of the Central Market Hall and it is as if they have always been here.
